Information technology is at the core of how you do your business and how your business model itself evolves. – Satya Nadella

When was the first time you ever asked your friend for a cup of coffee? Can you remember how you exactly told that person? Was it verbal or written? Gone are the days that we use Analog mobile phones mainly for sending texts and making calls, including the old ones like beepers, postal mails, greeting cards, telegram,  and the famous work of Alexander Graham Bell who co-founded the American Telephone and Telegraph Company in 1885.

These were the means humans communicate with their friends and loved ones including official documents and confidential information.

Certainly as technology advances since Pre Mechanical Age, Mechanical Age, Electromechanical Age and now the Electronic Age, how we share information had also evolved.

According to Matt Mullenweg, a Social Media Entrepreneur. He said “Technology is best when it brings people together.”

These were the primary objective of innovation as technology has brought a lot of changes in different industries, as well as the way we have our daily conversations.

Today, how the Information Technology had rapidly improved has made our daily lives changed the way we communicate with our friends and family, office-mates as well as the world. Information Technology has brought us closer to the world as more and more people have access to the vast sources of knowledge and means to reach those who are actually in different locations especially those in other parts of the world via social media platforms.

From traditional formats now comes digital versions of how people convey their messages and products of their businesses.

Textbooks, Paperbacks and prints have transitioned into digital forms such as e-books and e-publications wherein matters about storage, data retrieval, record-keeping and sending out information have greatly changed making transactions and productivity much faster and had increased in terms of output and reduced workload on workers and employees.

With the rapid growth and development of internet, the new information technology have eliminated the physical costs of communications due to the ability of data transfer thru wire, or wireless options. Messages are sent thru electronic mails which practically arrive within seconds, allowing the recipients’ respond in real-time or faster than what was made available in the past.

“The new information technology… Internet and e-mail.. have practically eliminated the physical costs of communications.”   –

Peter Drucker

As we move towards 2021, more and more innovations are being developed and made available to users and businesses and companies are continuously finding solutions to daily human challenges.
